The horror of the plain white page

The courser blinks away on the blank page, taunting you to mark the pristine page with meaningful poetry or prose.

“I have so much potential” The courser blinked on with it”s message, ” I could  paint the page with the next great novel,”

“Or my next shopping list,” I muttered under my breath.

The courser stated. “Are you taking this writing thing seriously or not !”

Male Executive With Severe Headache - Isolated

“I am trying to” I said. “i am experimenting with dialog today.”

“Poorly.” said the courser smugly.

It’s hard when you don’t even have a question mark.” I said.

Then, in a surge  of annoyance I closed and deleted the text, turned off the computer and had a nap.
